| Digestion?? anyone have any ideas on how to speed up the digestion of my little furby?? I feed her and sometimes itll take about 3-4 hours to finally poop!! she pees a whole lot but it takes really long for her to go poop!! any ideas?? thanks!!

| You can't expect her to digest food faster than a few hours...if her food was shooting straight through her, there would be some serious issues. Sounds like she's fine to me. If it was taking 3-4 DAYS, then I'd be worried, but not 3-4 hours

Phantom Queen Morrigan Donating Member | i don't think she was thinking that the food the pup just ate was being digested and pooped out too slow. I think she saw that most people recommend taking their puppies outside 20 minutes after eating to go potty. eating stimulates the digestive system right? i've known some puppies to eat and then poop within 2 minutes LOL And then some that eat and take their time to poop.

| Tessa usually only goes once a day and that is in the morning. Her bowl is always full and she "grazes" all day. I think it is alot like a kid, they go when they need to go and that's all there is to it

| thats exactly what i meant!! some say take them out 45 min after they eat..but my baby just takes forever to poop...cookie is 5 months old and eats twice a day and i feed her royal canine (spelling)
