| If I remember right, should be around 6 to 9mos. depending on the puppy. If they don't fall out on their own, your vet will have to remove them. Both our girls had to have their baby teeth removed. I hope they fall out on their own. Good luck to your little baby.

| They all must be different because Mindy is 7 months and was spayed this week. The vet only had to remove two of her baby teeth. Then my little guy Bear is 16 weeks and he hasn't lost any yet. I'm assuming they should start falling out very soon.

| normally between 4 and 6 months, although our little dogs seem to take longer to loose all of their teeth. Lacy's 4 canines never came out on their own so I had them pulled

Phantom Queen Morrigan Donating Member | Dogs normally start losing teeth at 4 months of age. It starts with the incisors (front teeth), then the k-9s (pointy fangs) and then the molars. The k-9s are usually in by 6 months old. In little dogs this whole process sometimes takes a little longer. When morgan was spayed at 6 months old she had 6 baby teeth removed.

| Slade didn't start losing his til 5 months. even then for awhile he had a double set of canines until he was almost 9 months. I was almost ready to call the vet to have them removed when one day they were gone!

| Pixie will be 6 months 4 december and she is just starting to lose hers now, she likes to play tug of war with socks and that seems to be helping them to come out!

| Lulu has just started to lose her teeth at 6mo. Her new nickname is pirrahna dog, her mouth looks crazy. She has also been making this awful clicking sound, it sounds like she is chewing on her teeth. At times she also looks like an old toothless person gumming there food when she is working on getting out the front teeth. She is a CHEW MACHINE!! The vet told me that I have 6 months or less before she gets them out or he pulls what is left. Didi |

| 2 years old and hasn't lost baby teeth Oh My Goodness my baby just turned 2 yesterday and still has almost all of her baby teeth. He had his yearly checkup a few months ago and they said if he didn't loose them in the next 6 months they would have to be removed. The vet didn't seem concerned. He chews like crazy, I have been giving him so many different bones, toys trying to get them loose...to no avail. I dread having him put to sleep, putting him under scares me to death. |

| My Ginger is just now 6 mos and I noticed she still has her 4 canines. Can anyone give me an estimate of how much it would cost to have them removed if they dont come out on their own? I will probably be getting her spayed within the next month, should I do it then so she doesnt have to be put to sleep twice, or wait and see if they come out on their own?
