| Yorkie Urinary/yeast Infections??? I was wondering if anyone had any history or problems with yeast or urinary infection is yorkies? Ive never had a problem but a couple times in last two weeks shes had a terrible odor.We have an appointment for Friday but any experience on this will be greatly appreciated. Of course Im worried and reading things on line but they said it sounds like maybe a yeast infection and they will do blood work Friday. She is 10 months, spayed -drinking, eating and acting fine, playful etc. Thank you

| I have not had a yeast infection problem with my babies but Murphy did have a urinary infection once and there was not an odor so I am assuming it may be more a yeast issue than Urinary. Have you been to the vet yet? Hope all is okay with your little one.

| anal gland A yeast infection would smell yeasty.... not great but not totally foul... but an anal gland problem would reek!!!!!! I had a cat once who suddenly got a foul odor. I have had cats all my life... my family use to breed apple head siamese... but nothing like that had ever happened. Could it be that? |
