Chris Christensen Brush Hi. I bought a Chris Christensen pin brush to use on Bailey. It was expensive, but so worth it! It glides through her hair and doesn't hurt her at all. She will stand perfectly still for me to brush her now. Even my maltese who hates to have his hair brushed tolerates it.

have you tried brushing your yorkie on a grooming table or just stroking her when she is on your lap and then graduate to using a brush to stroke her with. Usually yorkies enjoy grooming as it is relaxing for them and helps with the bonding process. I have two yorkies who have been groomed daily since they were a few weeks old

I used to have the same problem with Roxie, she hated to be brushed! After reading a few threads on this site about Chris Christensen brushes I purchased a pin brush and comb. I can now brush Roxie daily with no problem, she is a perfect angel and she actually enjoys being brushed!

If I wanted to sit there all night and groom Venus, she'd love it. I started when I first got her, and got her used to it. Adonis is another story. I have to groom him each night in "stages". He doesn't tolerate much before we stop for a few minutes. But there is enough time in each night to get him finished, lol. I didn't start him out day 1 like I did Venus.
