What do you think??

I'm thinking about getting Kitty's hair cut short for the summer. What kind of clip do you think will look good on her?

No ideas??? I have an appointment for her to be groomed this evening and have no idea what to do on her.

Well, Kitty didn't get groomed. The groomer told me to be there at 5:15pm. (She does it in her home at nights and weekends.) She wasn't there so we waited until 6:15pm and still no groomer so we left. I'm so mad that this person didn't show up at the appointed time. I give her a big !!!!

That sucks that your groomer flaked on you. Did she ever call you back with an explanation?

As far as a haircut goes, regarding the schnauzer cut idea on a yorkie...I am not a fan. I do one little guy that way and he looks ok but just not my favorite cut on a yorkie. I like them with about 1" left on the body and longer hand sissored legs and a nice round teddy bear head. When you do find a groomer who will actually show up for the appointment be sure to ask lots of questions. Watch out for groomers that just take a clipper with a short blade over the entire dog.

I agree... That is the shortest I will go on my babies. And always explain exactly what ya want done or some groomers take it upon themselves to go way too short, and it takes awhile for it to grow back. My groomer did one of my dogs too short once, and I havent been back since. I even explained what I wanted to her, and she didn't do it that way. I have since, been cutting their hair myself. Yes it's time consuming but at least I know what I want. The only thing I hate doing is their nails but we get it done.
