For those self-groomers.... what kind of razer/clippers do you use? And where do you get them? I was at PetSmart and they were using razors and shaving the dogs, but what if I want a little bit longer coat? Thanks

I don't know much about grooming, I'm just learning myself. I bought a Wahl moustache trimmer because someone on here recommended it. I use it to trim around his private part, up his butt and between his eyes. We are also growing in the coat but I am getting ready to go back to a puppy cut I think. They are safe and easy to use but please becareful around the ears. Do not run them up the sides of the ears or you will cut the ears!

| I Do Harvey Myself - Only Because I Am Afraid Of Leaving Him, With A Groomer. I Only Use Sissors, And I Keep Him In The Puppy Cut As That Is What I Prefer. I Think You Get Better The More Experience You Have.

If you want a little longer coat, you have to do it all with a scissors. It really isn't all that hard, Just take the hair between your fingers and snip, do it all over, It takes about an hour

I like the Whal & Oster Clippers you really do get what you pay for. If you want a good clipper go toa profeshional gooming site like this is a good one, http://www.valleyvet.com/ct_sub_cate...9-4c8ec33aed10 It may be a investment but it is worth it in money and pride.
