| How much scratching is too much? Hi Everyone, We have to bathe Punkin quite frequently because her hair gets greasy. I wonder if her skin gets too dry. She seems to scratch quite a bit, but I'm not sure how much scratching would be considered normal. She doesn't have any flaking, but she scratches every couple of hours. If only she could talk! Any tips? Thanks!

| It's a few different spots. Behind her ears, her back and around her face.

Donating YT 14K Club Member | What kind of food is your furbaby on? Check the food label. If it has corn as one of the main ingredients than that's what is causing the scratching.

Yorkie Kisses are the Best! Donating Member | I don't know whats 'too much' - my girls hardly ever scratch....so to me any would be excessive....Have you changed food or tried oatmeal shampoo ? Are you rinsing her really well in the bath ? Something I had great luck with one summer when Chanel played in the hose almost every day was Veternarians Best Moisture Mist SKIN Conditioner - found at petco...8 $ Spray it on and leave it - within 12 hours she stopped scratching and hasn't since that year |
