| Help with Riley's coat Hi! Our Riley has such THICK hair. So far, we haven't found a good product to help keep it under control. He has just an abundance of hair, and it is shiny and straight, but makes him look like an old man in the face if it's not done right, lol. He is SO lovable and cute at 8 months, but His hair is almost unmanageable. It doesn't matte very much, and that is a plus. Can anyone tell anything about his coat from these photos? (other than he is adorable:-) What is the very best product on the market, cost not being an issue, would you use to manage a coat like this without having to puppy cut him? I have heard argon oil, but not sure what brand etc... Cowboy magic is so-so for him, Yorkie splash n shine doesn't work well for him either... Any thoughts? Thanks :-) Web-Prepared.jpg Web-Prepared2.jpg Last edited by YorkieDaddy1; 05-03-2016 at 08:10 PM. |

Furbutts = LOVE Donating Member Moderator | Wow, his fur/coat is just gorgeous! So thick and luscious. Looks silky too...is it? I've not had a coat like this to care for but if money is not an issue, I'd look into (and maybe even call for advice) Iv San Bernard products. They really have some incredible lines! | Riley's Coat Hi Yorkie Daddy, Does his hair seem dry at all to you because in the second photo his hair does seem to me a little dry? That is what I saw with my tired old eyes. If so I wonder if what I use on my Joey would help you any. It is Warren London Hydrating Butter for skin and coat leave in conditioner with Guava & Mangosteen. It is non oily all natural hydrating treatment. It has a pleasant scent as I cannot tolerate strong scents. Riley has a beautiful coat of hair and a gorgeous face as you well know. Just thought maybe this might be of a help to you. Hope you find what you are looking for to help manage his hair.
