| Water-less shampoo to get pee smell out? Sometimes Lola gets pee on her back legs and it's such a small amount it's not worth sticking her in the tub or I don't have time to wash her at that moment. I really hate sticking her in the tub given how cold it is. I've already tried cutting her hair, it's better but not perfect. Is there some sort of spray or foaming shampoo I could use to get the smell out until I can give her a proper bath? I'd prefer something that doesn't have a really strong fragrance (especially the yucky powdery/perfumy smelling stuff groomers frequently use). Right now I'm using baby wipes but it doesn't really help. |

| Espree makes a waterless foaming shampoo that doesn't need to be washed out, but it's scentless so I'm not sure how it would work for urine smell. Maybe wipes will work too? I wash the girl's pee area after their daily walk along w/their paws. IDK why, but their paws get so dirty, sometimes the water turns black! I end up washing their whole legs to get the dirt off...maybe I should put leg warmers on them.

| Thanks I'll look into the espree. It's not easy to wash Lola, especially in the winter. The stupid shower head drips water on me and my house is cold so I have to put her on the radiator for half hour. Plus she hates it, she's good but it's obvious she hates it. |

| I was going to suggest baby wipes, too. The unscented and natural kind. That's what I use for Mandie. I know several that do.

| I was just mentioning on one of the other threads that I use the Chris Christensen Show Off spray shampoo on Gracie when she gets her feet or lower body hair dirty when she goes outside. It is also good for those spot cleanings that have to be done from time to time. Smells great and leaves the fur soft and shiny. |

The baby wipes don't get the pee smell out when she pees on her hair, they're ok for cleaning her privates, but not her legs.

Baby wipes are ok for very small matters but with fur that is soiled you really need to mostly saturate it. You can't do that with a baby wipe.
