| trim nails how? Hi everyone I have a 16 week old yorkie. I have been grroming fine like combing him bathing him, But since I got him at 10 week I have not cut his nails. They were litle when I got him but now i know i have to cust them. I finnaly bought a puppy nail clipper the smallest I can find. I am so scare to do them. I even bought petty paws thing but he is so little i can't do it with that. Does anyone have a picture or any idea how far i have to cut the nails? I love gromming him but this is by far the only thing I am scare to do. I don't want to go to a groomer or the vet just for this. But I don't want to cut him to much eiether. Any ideas how far to cut a picture will be greatly appreciated thanks mily |

| If you look closely at the nail it is lighter to darker.. I always use this as a guide if you will. right as the nail curves or gets darker is where I usually cut. Hope that helps you and not confuses you. Don't be scared... but I wouldn't wait too long that way he gets used to having them done.

♥Tiny Tia my Furbaby♥ Donating Member | This is the only bit I worry about lol. The quick is hard to see as they have dark nails. I was confident doing Tias at first until I cut one too short and she bled. Scared me to death so now I use this instead , she doesn't mind it and its not loud. Its for humans and I use it for my nails too.For your first time get the vet to show you how or there is a good sticky on it. good luck. 193116519c.jpg 331308203c.jpg 657394086c.jpg

I cut them after batch is easy that way, and try little by little stop at the curve of the nail, also purchased the yellow powder that make the bleed to stop, sorry I forgot the name, I got mine at the vet too, thank God never had to use it yet
