| What should I use to cut his hair like this?? I'd like Jackson's hair to be cut short like this for the summer since he'll be in the water a lot, etc and his hair grows so damn fast, lol! However, I just had him groomed the day before Easter but I hate how it only looks "fresh" for about 2 weeks. That's why I want the shorter do. I'd like to skip out on paying $50 again as much as I love the groomer and attempt to do this myself. For a cut like the first pic attached, do you use scissors or some kind of buzzer? I'm a newbie! I've only trimmed Jackson's hair and simply with a regular pair of scissors! lol. Tips please!! First pic is a member from here's dog. Second pic is Jackson from 2 weeks ago

My furkids Donating Member | You are going to need clippers. I have a 1 1/4 inch clipper guide that I use on mine...I don't want them really really short...Clippers come with different size guides. You could ask a hairdresser (or groomer) what size you should use to get the look that you want.
