| Finally...I tamed that cottony coat! I have tried numerous products to tame down Jack's cottony coat..... Ice on Ice was like I just spritzed water on him, it had no effect on his coat at all..... Cowboy Magic just left him greasy and it was thick to work with. I came across this product called, Hask Pure Shine.... I thought for the price what do I have to lose. This product has been amazing!!.....I have more control because it's a spray... it goes on in a fine mist.... it helps tremendously with his brush out....it adds a nice luster to his coat.... and best of all his coat lays flat, no more poofy coat!!!..... It's been four days and it's still laying down. I've been using it for a month and a half with absolutely no problems!! It's a silicone type product so I figured it didn't matter if it was in the human dept because that is what Cowboy Magic is. I do use it on Jake and J.J. too even though they have silky coats, I just use less..... Here's what it looks like... Pure Shine Frizz Remedy | Hask | Beauty & Spa | Walgreens I found it at Walmart for about $4 and Walgreens caries ir for about $6 in the human product hair care section.

| Hi! I'm new here and had my yorkie for about a month now. I tried the product out and it worked like a charm! My little Tiffany's coat looks great! JP4M2, How often do you apply it? Everyday? Every other day? I don't want to over do it and make her coat greasy. Thanks... |

| I am definitely going to give this a try with mine as I've been struggling with his cottony coat for quite some time. Thanks for posting this. |

| I'm not sure if it will show up well in these pic's.....the pic. on the left is before and on the right is using the product. As with any product use it sparingly.....

Yorkie Kisses are the Best! Donating Member | Really ? I may have to try it too - for all of us. Thank you The one I like for my Chanel is Sea Breeze Oil by Plush Puppy - I love that stuff - it's water based but it also keeps that hair laying flat - |

| So does this go on AFTER the shampoo and while the hair is still damp? I'm going to try some on Kalina. She's modified, but I'm thinking it'll be really nice for her.

| I make a cream rinse of 3 different things that work beautifuly on my Azrael who has the VERY thick cotton coat. I do love how the cowboy magic works to get out any mats since it isn't oily, but more like silicone, but I haven't had to use it with my cream rinse mixture. ( The cowboy magic is for horses, not people) They all get a morning brushing without fail though. I may try the Hask Pure Shine and see if her coat will lay a bit flater and be a bit more shiny.
