| Has anyone gone to see Doctor Andrew Kaplan? My vet told me that my dog has both rear knee caps dislocated and he will need surgery for this. He said the surgery is expensive and is very painful. He is a dental surgeon but said he would do this surgery. I am a bit wary of that. I would feel more comfortable if an orthopedic surgeon did this. So a friend of mine told me to go to Doctor Andrew Kaplan at 220 West 72nd Street in NYC. He isn't an orthopedic surgeon but he could refer me to one. She told me he is a great vet and his website sounds like it but I would like to hear some more opinions of people who have been to him. Thanks. |

| OMG a dental surgeon doing knee surgery. Seems scary to me. I'd take your baby to the best surgeon possible. Maybe contact Penn University for a reccomendation. Also Tinton Falls NJ has a specialty hospital that is supposed to be very very good. I know our vet (Stafford Vet Hospital) sends his patients there. Best of luck to you and your baby. Elaine |
