| help to find acupuncture therapis for Tahoe Hi everyone..some of you knows about Tahoe and for who dont I will give you some info.Well Tahoe is 1.5 yo yorkie who got hurt about a month ago..we had no idea what happed to him till we had MRI done on him..the results was that Tahoe had suffer a stroke and thats why he is paralyzed..he is doing better and improving but there is not medication for stroke so therapy is my only hope..Im looking for acupuncture therapy for dogs around Long Island NY...if anyone knows of such a therapist please let me know asasp..My specialist offers that but is very expansive on top of it they dont make app. and I have to put Tahoe in doggy day care for a day at the time in order for him to get the acupuncture..Im not happy about him spending all day in there since the therapy will be only about 12-15 min.long..on top of this there is extra charge for day care which is way to much for us and the place is 45-50 min.away from where I live..what Im looking for is a therapist who will take him by app...Please help me find therapist to help Tahoe |

I asked my vet today and she said there is only one acupuncturist on Long Island that she knows. His name is Dr. Wen and he is in Suffolk county, but I did not get the name of the place and I cannot find him in the white pages b/c I do not know the zip code. Maybe you can get your vet to tell you. However, it is still far from you ... http://www.peteducation.com/article.cfm?cls=0&cat=1446&articleid=1334 http://www.theholisticvet.com/vet_acupuncture2.html Good Luck, Debbie

In a message dated 5/2/2007 10:10:15 PM Eastern Daylight Time, 18koismassage@optonline.net writes: Hello Debbie, As far as I know, the only people that can work on dogs are vets. I'm not allowed to massage dogs, or any animals. I will ask around and get back to you if I find any information. Sorry, Craig Ripley LMT 18koismassage@optonline.net
