| Docked tail too short? Hello everyone. I am new to yorkie talk and his is my first post/question. I just got my new yorktese puppy. She looks more like a yorkie puppy. I think her tail is docked too short. It measures about 1 inch. She is 12 weeks and weighs about 3 1/2 pounds. I want her to have a tail that can wag and be visible. Will her tail get longer as she grows up? I was hoping for it to be at least 2 inches. |

| BB has a LONG tail BB was 6 months old 6/30/14, she came home from the breeder a week ago. this breeder does not dock tails. I forget why=show dogs now keep their tails? Anyway, I love it! It wags & wags. I lost STAR 6/3/14 and BB's tail makes me forget STAR for a moment because she looks so different with her BEAUTIFUL long tail! I am still mourning.... |
