| Mia is looking for a sister Hi, My husband and I are looking to get a sister for our 2 1/2 yr old yorkie princess, Mia! Does anyone know of a reputable breeder in the Central New Jersey area? We would prefer a blue-steel yorkie that will grow to 8 to 10 lbs, NOT a teacup. Our Mia is 9 lbs and we think she is perfect! Not fragile or frail and never sick. Any help would be wonderful and much appreciated. Thanks all, Elena |

| Welcome to YT Hello and welcome to YT! This is an excellent site for Yorkie information. There are a number of people on here who have Yorkies heavier than the AKC standard of 7 lbs. Some lovingly refer to them a "Teapots". Try doing a search here for teapot or go into the quick links towards the top of your screen and scroll down to social groups. You will find one there called AKC Misfits. You may be able to ask there who breeds larger Yorkies. All the best in your search and again, welcome to YT. Oh, by the way, my MacTavish would be classed as a misfit with his ears down and weighing 8 lbs. I adore him!! Your Mia is a darling princess!!!
