| it really just depends on what you want to do. if you want to take the puppy, start putting it in a small carrier so he will get used to it. Also, check your airline for carrier sizes. even if your carrier is a little big, if the top corners are soft, you can smoosh it down to fit under the seat. My puppy never made a sound on a recent trip. Also, make sure you take food for the pup. As far as medicating before flight, most airlines have a rule against it but I know a lot of people still do it. When you book your flight, be sure to tell them you have a puppy traveling in cabin with you since they have a limit to the number of in cabin pets they allow per flight. |

| If your puppy isn't hyper and yappy then I'm sure she will be just fine. If your really worried about it then just give her four drops of Rescue Remedy 45 minutes before the flight. It's an herbal remedy, not medication. |

| o ok, my puppy tends to be quiet. so i guess no need for meds. i was just worried like the pressure difference if it does anything to them. i just wanted to see what others experienced. |

| Harley and I flew 3 weeks ago. ( He will be 4 months on the 21st!) I called the vet before hand to see if there was anything I could give him to calm him down, and he said no because of his size. BUT I will have you know Harley was an angel the entire trip, even for our 2 hour layover in Memphis! He never made one peep on the plane. I wouldn't worry about it. Im sure your baby will do fine!

| I fly with my yorkies regularly....Make sure that your carrier meets airline approval, I use a Louis Vuitton carrier (with a soft cozy pillow) and it fits perfectly under the seat. Alert the airlines that you are traveling with a dog, this is to reserve your slot in cabin (some airlines have restrictions on how many can travel in cabin)....Make sure your pup is current on it's vaccinations and a health certificate may be required, dependent on where you plan to travel too. Rabies vaccination is not required for pups under 6 months of age. Make sure that you have a piddle pad, baby wipes, bottled water for when you land and a lead for potting. I don't feed prior to traveling as they can become airsick. But, for the most part once the plane has taken off, they sleep, no calmitives are necessary.

| ok....that is the real trick... I know that there is NOT a stewardess that would say a "thing" about your sweet little darlings on the plane......I am sure the the Louis Vuitton does help a bit....he he he......I just went to the LV in Nashville and looked at the carriers......whew.......something about putting my "stuffed" animal in the bag that just did not have the same effect....LOL Hope you are doing well....cannot wait to meet you..... |

I didn't get the LV at a LV Boutique.....Got it on one of my shopping excursions to Canal Street in NY......didn't have to pay near the cost. The LV doesn't mean a thing to those lil precious yorkies....they'll poop in it just as they would any other carrier....I experienced that first hand on my last trip to Dallas. Yep! Tahlulah had no shame and did not discriminate whatsoever......off to the the bathroom we went.....very limited space for both of us....her on the floor so, I could clean it out.....but, we accomplished it.

| I'll be flying a pup back from Atlanta on Friday. Boy I sure hope we don't have any problems but I will take extra puppy pads just in case.

| I bought the Sherpa one from Petsmart. I guess its not as "trendy" but it was airline approved and Harley seemed really comfy in it.

| I snagged one from Petsmart for $1. on clearance. It is not pretty but it will work. It will get this gal home safely and you can't beat the price!

| I hope all goes well for you. I had a trip from far below when I took Sebastian home. He kept escaping from the carrier, so make sure you get a good one.
