Shade We get to go! SO excited

I posted here and was so upset about the hotel fees which led to us not being able to go!

Then, when my lovely boyfriend came home I found out there isn't even a Super 8 where they're going! So, me being the freak I am, I looked up the different hotels that were there which ended up being like 3 motels and 1 hotel, haha. We called the 1 hotel which is a Ramada and found out their pet fee was $25 for the whole time, now we just had to wait and see which hotel his boss decided to stay in. Rickey called me when they got there and he was so excited because IT'S THE HOTEL THEY'RE STAYING IN! You have no idea how excited I am, I finally get to spend more than 2 days with him and I know Lilly will be living it up and loving it when she finds out! Her & I are going to leave out either Thursday or Friday and drive there - it's in Warsaw, KY!

This is Lilly's first trip too, she's stayed in a hotel once before but it was only for a night and it was RIGHT after we got her so this will be VERY interesting.

Any tips or anything you know of that I should DEFINITELY bring? I'm sure I'll pack everything imaginable that I have but there may be some things I need to get. I already bought a plastic joint food/water bowl and I have her HandiDrink for on the road! We'll be staying for up to 2 weeks if that helps and the drive is 2 hours.

Thanks wonderful people!

Pack a bunch of weewee pads, shampoo (they tend to get loose poops on the road), bottled water, huggie wipes, a blankie (with the smell of home on it). I bring chicken & sweet potato baby food which is good in case they have loose stools on the road. It is sometimes stressful for them to travel so they might not be themselves for the first few days. Also, look up the closest emergency vet where you are going, just so you know where to go in case anything happens. Have a great trip!!

Thanks so much! This was very helpful and I'm glad someone finally replied. I was biased on the shampoo but now I'm def. taking it! I need to pick up some wipes and the baby food and find the closest emergency vet! I'll def. have to bring her blankie or she'll go nuts!
