| Motor home help We have just purchased another small motorhome and I was wonder if anybody else travels with their Yorkies in one . How do you transport your dog ? We have been using our pet kennels strapped onto the seats but Tuc gets travel sickness and I always end up having a mess and him to clean up . He also gets sick when he travels in our truck ( they ride in their kennels strapped in as well ) . Our vet recommended child's gravol for him but he still gets sick and then takes a couple days to get better . He is 4.5 lbs . Ryder , his brother travels just fine . Any recommendations would be great appreciated |

| Hi,, we live mostly in our RV,, with 3 Yorkies,, 4 lb, 9.6 lb and 4.5 lbs... only our big girl gets car sick,, we give her a RX, Cerenia,, 30 minutes before leaving on a trip,, drive home (about 4 hours) she no longer gets sick,, but we dont crate them either,,we travel in our pickup trucks and have doggie pillows/beds for them between our seats,, and in the backseat,, along with a piddle pad for them to go if needed,, all works great for us, ,and for short trips we give her Bonine (for humans for motion sickness),, at the Vets recommendation,, half a tablet 30 minutes or less before leaving to go somewhere,, and also all ours ride on our motorcycles with us!! we all love GOING!

| We have traveled with Murfee all over the US. Thank goodness he doesn't get car sick. He rides in a dog bed between our seats. Good luck.

| We travel in an RV and use our snoozer carseat. We use the seatbelt that is in the "booth" seat to secure the carseat and then we have 2 of the "tether straps" that we use to attach to the dogs harnesses and secure them IN the seat. We leave the window blinds open so they can see out and they seem to ride there just fine. Occasionally will will let them sit up front in the passenger seat (secured in the carseat) just for a "change of scenery" but then we always turn the passenger side airbag off.

| We travel quite a bit in our RV and I just let Bomber be where he wants to be. He knows where he is most comfortable, and I just go with that. He does really well. He rides most in my seat with me or on the floor between our two seats. I'm glad to find other rv'ers on here.
