Donating YT 500 Club Member | Youngest has swine flu Please keep my son and family in your prayers. My youngest has the flu, the ER doctor said most likely swine flu, treat it as regular flu, they aren't going to test for it anymore unless they are admitted. He's doing fine, but I'm really really worried my older son will get it. He has a much lower immune system and is a tiny kid. He won't fair well like his brother has. I'm just worried sick

Donating YT 30K Club Member | I will keep him in my prayers. My godchild had it a few months ago and she is a skinny skinny 12 year old. She was pretty sick for a week but after that felt much better. No one else in the family got it so hopefully your other son will be ok.

| My grandson and a few of the kids in his school had it last week , in Orlando and one Dr wouldn't give them anything for it and my grandson had a fever of 103.4 for 2 days, so they went to another one and he gave them the H1N1 nostril spray. I think every Dr and state is doing something different. You need to call around and see if u can get it some where else. He is doing better after 7 days and back to school. Will keep u all in our prayers. Make sure he stays within one room , and stays away from your other grandson. My Son and his wife didn't get , so maybe your grandson will be ok. Good Luck !!! Take Care, bark@ulater!!!!! manina, mileymaxsasha |

| The advice I can offer is this, Stay positive and don't worry. Stress is a trigger for illness. The human body is a wonderful machine and knows what to do to heal itself. Hydration is very important..for both boy's. The main thing is not to worry. Your son will be fine and let your other son know that he will be fine too! The mind is very powerful and the body will follow whatever it is told. If you fear this is a horrible illness..you will create just that. My husband works with physicians and is exposed to illness on a daily basis..so is my family..But we tell ourselves we will not get sick. We wash our hands and drink plenty of fluids and don't worry about it..I know the media has really made us fear this thing..but you need to trust that you will be healthy and this will pass!! I hope this makes sense..prayers are coming your way!! =) |

| Sorry to hear about your youngest.......... hope that he is getting improving and feeling better. They have closed schools here because of the flu. There were 450 kids out. My good friends son also has it (Swine flu) and if he doesn't improve by tomorrow he will be hospitalized. ALmost an epidemic...... not good. Sometimes I think that if the weather gets a bit colder it may help kill off some of these flu germs. Again....... my well wishes to your son.
