Pls remember my sweet Bella this morning!

She's @ the Vet getting her spay operation. Her itching has gotten worse in the last week too.....she's miserable. I was so hoping she would be all better when she was due for operation. Couldn't give her Benadryl because of the surgery today. I can call around noon to check on her. I should be able to pick her up around 4:30. I wanted to scan the paperwork I had to sign in order to help those with questions about these operations. There have been some sad stories, and it is scary. But there was a paragraph explaining addt'l charge for Pre-work Blood Test, Lazer surgery, and pain meds. Of course, I checked that I wanted all the above.

Bella is Home! YAY! She did good through the surgery. She also had 2 baby teeth pulled. She is very tired & sleepy, but I held her most of the afternoon. She is often making these muted cries.

I guess she is scared & sore. Anyone else's baby do this too? I can start to give her pain meds tomorrow. I hope she can rest through the nite.

So glad to hear Bella came through the surgery well, hopefully the itchiness has stopped and she'll be all healed up soon. Saying prayers for your lil one.

How is Bella doing today? Both of mine felt a lot better the second day...no pain meds required! I hope her itchies go away, too!

Really, no pain meds the 2nd day? How do you tell, for sure? That was great for them! Bella was restless during the night. She seems to feel better now, but she's still squirming @times, so I did give her a pain tablet this morning. Poor little thing....I think if it wasn't for the itchies, she would be doing alot better. I was so hoping she wouldn't have that when her surgery was scheduled.....that's why I delayed. She can't have anything for the itching because of the pain meds, so I'd hate not to give her that. She feels secure when Mommy is holding/rocking her.....talking to her!

She just doesn't know what is going on with all this. She is eating good. I'm going to do a post later on her itchies & my discussion with the Vet. So many on here having problems with this.

from Mommy & Bella to grandmatoall!! With all that's been going on with her the past couple of days, she found the time to be there to help me with questions since Sandy just had her surgery & made me feel comforted. U R A Great Friend!!
