| YTers in Vegas I know this isn't the travel thread but I'm looking to take my little guy to Vegas and spend a few days, I know what the pet friendly hotels, the posted ones, are off the strip, are there any pet friendly ones ON the strip, ones that would let me bring in my little dog? We all know sometimes what is said and what is real is not always the same, that's why I'm asking you guys, who are from there. Who are the good hotels, the good ones? And with our heat, is this even more important to have the right place. Thanks so much

| I know the Four Seasons allows pets and the Mandalay Bay might but you would be surprised that most don't allow even small pets. I used to do the pet trade shows and when we went to Vegas we usually stayed at the Super 8 because it was close to the trade show and it allowed pets!! Good Luck, Vegas isn't very dog friendly!!

| YorkieChick, thanks for the feed back, I don't know where the 4 seasons is at in Vegas, but the Mandalay Bay would be good, I'll call and check. Wow, with as much $$$ as pet related things bring in you'd think somebody would wise up about our little people. My little guy is new to my household and we had never encountered this "problem" before, and I could not leave him at home or with a sitter, even if I could find one that I trusted. DH and I go to Vegas 3-4 times a year combo of work related and fun (treats?). Anyway, small changes can be made to the time but where to stay is a biggie. Thanks

| Hello there! I would have to agree with the Four Seasons/Mandalay Bay...they are right next to each other (practically connected). Unfortunately, I doubt many of the major hotels will allow pets. I would say just call them and if the one you call says no, ask them what other hotel/casino may allow pets. They are all connected to one another and call each other for things like this all the time.

| Thanks Jenn, I did call and the Four Seasons and Mandalay Bay ARE the same hotel! The Four Seasons is just UP STAIRS from the Bay, OMG, if I understood correctly it's the top 4 or 5 floors of the Bay. SO cool, of course no dogs in the casino, but I don't gamble anyway, also, the Trump towers takes dogs but they want an expensive deposit and that's as far as I've gotten on my Vegas vacation info shopping. But I sure appreciate the help. Everywhere says no dogs in the casino, but as long as they are not visible, no one really cares, the casino's are hurting BAD. But I don't gamble anyway, I'm going for the visiting and SHOPPING. OMG, Vegas has some of THE BEST shopping. OH and I forgot the people watching, the people are insanely funny, the clothes they wear and the things they do, you couldn't pay for that kind of a show! I figure I can stay a few days at the 4 seasons, shop, visit, go down stairs at the Bay get a new Yorkie TATTOO at the tattoo shop. Come away with new stuff from shopping and a new tatt, and lots of visiting. Now just being able to afford it! Thanks for your help.
