Yippeee! Arkansas members! Toto and I will be joining Patrick sometime in July. He is working on a project there and we decided to wait and go up later. Maybe we can have a mini-meetup sometime while we are there .... could be a couple of years. Also, Sandy lives in Hot Springs!!

Default moving

I live in Houston, Tx right now but the first of August I will be moving to Sherridon, Ar. I have an 8 month old male Yorkie that I love to death. His name is Topaz I am wondering if it will be hard for him to adjust to the colder weather. Am looking forward to the move.

I don't think the weather in Arkansas (particularly Sheridan) is much different than Houston. I'm sure it gets a few degrees colder in the winter, but not much. There are many years where we don't see any snow. Your little one will be fine.

"Topaz" is a cool name by the way.

Thank you for the information. My son lives in Sheridan and am looking forward to the move. I have always liked the name Topaz but didn't realize when I got my Yorkie the following info. His birthday is in November, the birthstone for November is Topaz. So I feel like he is a real gem to me.

Default grooming

I am having a hard time keeping the knots out of Topaz. I try to keep him cut pretty short and brush him every day but he still gets knots. Can any one help me with this problem?

regarding parks, I would say Lake Willastein in Maumelle or Murray Park in Little Rock.
