Default NEED HELP with boarding - Nashville or Des Moines

Hi, all it has been some time since I've posted, but I am in dire need of assistance.

I am going out of town for a few days and just learned my regular pet sitter can not take my 2 Yorkies!! I am traveling from Des Moines, Iowa to Nashville, Tenn. to take my daughter to orientation at Vanderbilt University.

I would possibly like to find a place to board the dogs in Nashville - fewer hours that way. But of course I know nothing about any kennels or pet care in Nashville. Can someone provide me with some advice??

I would like to find a place I could bring them this Sunday morning and pick them up mid-day on Wed.

Otherwise anyone in the Des Moines area have a recommendation?

I am so spoiled as I have never paid to board them - they usually go back to the home of their former owners. They had them for 1 1/2 years and I've had them for almost 4.

Try this link. It is a list of the best places to board in Nashville.

I've heard good things about My Second Home Pet Resort.

Hi, I'm in the DM area too! I have heard of a few great places to board in the metro area:

Greenbelt Kennels in Windsor Heights (I think)-a friend of mine takes her dogs there and they LOVE it, and they have optional daycare services too while you board!
http://www.greenbeltkennels.com/

Waukee-Clive Vet Clinic recently opened a new boarding facility. It's at the intersection of Hickman Rd. and 152nd street on the border of Waukee and Clive.

Avondale Pet Resort-I've never been, but check out the pictures of it online! A friend of mine took her extremely spoiled and particular schnauzer there and he LOVED it, it was the only place she would leave him!

Check them out, and let me know if you need further info on this one!

***EDIT**

I just realized that you needed to leave to go out of town this morning. I hope you found somewhere great to board your dogs. Hopefully you will keep my suggestions in mind for the next trip!

Default finding a place for your 2 dogs

My name is Gloria and I am a Certified Veterinary Technician who also does dog walking and pet sitting. If you are thinking about leaving them in Des Moines I may be able to help. I could keep them at our house for a few days for $30.00 per day. Please let me know if I can help in any way. My email address is gloria@deugan.com.

I would never take any animal to Greenbelt Kennels - they killed my Bichon. I could have sued - I didn't. Please anyone in Iowa --- never ever go there - I can tell you horror stories
