| I actually live in Tracy City. We don't have any where to shop up here on the mountain so we go to Tullahoma and Murfreesboro all the time. Our dentist and orthodontist are in Tullahoma. So we are pretty close! Knoxville is not to far away either. Thanks for replying. I really enjoy this site. |

| Looking Hello, My name is Karen and I am new to the forum. I have been seeking a young yorkie or yorkie mix that is needing a home, re-home or rescue. Not a puppy, ideally a young female already house trained and spayed. We are a retired couple and I yearn for that little lap baby and cuddler with doggie kisses galore. When my empty lap gets too bad I just go outside and let my two 60 lb goldens climb all over me as I hold them tight. (Which of course I do every day) That is always a joy for me and them.. I love dogs so much. Even with that, when I am sitting quietly watching TV or reading or even in bed, I still yearn for the furry little body next to mine and sweet doggie kisses. I live just across the river into northwest TN. If anyone has or knows of a little darling needing a lap and lots of love, please let me know. Thank you Karen |

| Sophie, the Yorkie - interested? Quote:
Karen, Not sure if you are interested, but there is a 20 lb spayed female Yorkie/Terrier (mix??....to me, it just looks like a bigger Yorkie on the Petfinder.com pic) Anyways, I will send you Sophie's Petfinder.com link. I know for a fact she is not yet adopted, in case you are interested in her. Not sure what size you are wanting though. I am adopting a Maltese from this Humane Society. It's really cool. On May 1, the dogs will both graduate together. They are currently in a prison, where they are living w/ specific inmates that are training them. They will even ring a bell to tell you they need to go outside to use the bathroom. Here's the link: http://www.petfinder.com/shelters/KY77.html. At the bottom of the website, you can clink on a link that will show you all the dogs they have left. Like I said, they graduate May 1. If you are interested, let me know, and I'll write the director of the humane society and let her know. Secondly, go to www.craigslist.com. http://nashville.craigslist.org/pet/316592925.html Here, there is a 7 month old, 3 lb Yorkie available for $300. They are selling b/c their son is allergic or something. Hope that helps a bit! | |

| Small Dog Playgroup? Hi, everyone. I should have found this thread b/f I just posted mine. I am from Nashville (well, I moved here in November from Birmingham...and grew up in MS). Anyways, if you are ever interested in playdates and live around Nashville area, lemme know. I live in Franklin. I have a 6.5 lb male Yorkie and on May 1, will be getting an 8 lb Maltese. They are not puppies, though. Yorkie = 1.5 yrs and Maltese = approximate 2 yrs. |

| Thanks for the leads.... I did check out Craigs list and that one is already gone. Sophie looks good but I am hoping for a smaller little girl. That program sounds like such an advantage.. They should do that in more places... If I did not already have golden retrievers I would be trying for Sophie plus another of a smaller size... I wish your all the best with your Maltese on the 1st of May... And should you come across another listing please let me know. Again thank you Karen |
