I grew up in Lafayette. I was just there last week and I went to the Krewe des Chiens parade. Next year I am going to bring Edie and we are going to be in the parade!!!

My parents still live in Lafayette, so I am there a few times per year.

Trina.. I called the lady but there was no answer so i guess i'll try agian and maybe she will answer.. A Meet Up sounds wonderful.. and are we ready for Mardi Gras ?!?! I asked Laura if we could take Mi with us to the fair at ULL Cajun Dome but she said Not if its raining and then she is worried she may get scared!!

Keep trying...she'll answer sooner or later...LOL! I believe I explained how she is kinda hard to reach.

Yesterday my two skin daughters rode in a small parade, the float theme was the 50s. So I had Sonja (pocomutt) make my Lizzie a poodle skirt and she walked with me with the float and boy was my Liz a hit! Everyone loved her....she was so cute!!

I also must say, Sonja also made my daughters poodle skirts and they were awesome as well! (I'll be shopping with her again!!)

By the way, I just changed my avatar to my new baby coming very soon from yorkieshowdogs.com....I believe her name is "Lynzee Delilah". She is such a cutie, don't ya think??

Yeah, the fair at the Cajun Dome is really busy. Unless your furbaby is use to large crowds, I would not bring him. It's not suppose to rain till after 12:00. Heavier later in the afternoon. So if you go, go early! If anyone is interested in a meet-up, I think it would be fun! Nolee needs to socialize. Glad to know YT members are nearby! Happy Mardi Gras!!
