No Longer a Member | Delete Old Posts? I know they are good to keep around so questions don't keep getting re-posted, but it seems like they do anyway. And then someone drags up posts that are 4 years old and answers the question that has most likely already been resolved. Maybe lock all old threads, or the ones that havent been posted in after, say 4 months? Just a thought, I'm sure there are many reasons to keep the posts, just thinking it could free up some of your server space by clearing up the posts from 2005-ish. |

| Deleting old posts would be a search engine nightmare. Google links would all be dead. I happen to like when people resurrect old threads. It means #1 -they are actually searching for valuable information #2 -some of that valuable information is something I may not have searched for

| I'm fairly new and on here all the time. I have been researching and reading almost all of the old threads. Although I have had yorkies all my life, I have never before been able to get all this information that is on here. If you delete all the old posts then for sure you will be getting reposting and reposting all of the same questions. I have really learned a lot - and its from the old posts -not the new ones. Please do not delete them. |

Administrator | Thank you for your feedback. We do believe each and every "old" post may contain information regarding Yorkies which may help a new Yorkie parent, or a newbie to YT. Don't worry about space, we've been working hard to maintain each and every post and thread and picture that ever gets posted to YorkieTalk! |

I ♥ Joey & Ralphie! Donating Member | I love reading old posts, it's part of Yorkietalk history, and you can learn how information has evolved.
