Donating YT 14K Club Member | A lot of times if it appears that a thread is becoming heated, admin will close it so no more people can respond. Now, if a thread is deleted (I just spent an hour trying to find one) it is usually because it was offensive.

| Kimberley- Unfortunately I know all too well about the "heated" threads and WHY those get deleted, but this was not one of them. I didnt see any of the forums rules broken on this thread, but then again, I have seen plenty of threads that should be deleted that remain and have seen plenty that are not offensive get deleted. I think it just depends of who has their finger on the Admin warning button! Some people are just "trigger-happy" I suppose!

I just checked the thread again. You're right. I didn't see anything offensive or heated about it. Maybe admin just thought it was time for us to move on to another subject.

Administrator | We closed it because technically the rules of the For Sale forum (no posts unless it's you selling a Yorkie) and because the information that members found out about the seller was rather shady. The information in the thread is still available. As our guidelines state, threads and posts can be closed or deleted for any reason. We do not believe it was in the best interest of YorkieTalk to let that thread continue. |
