| Rebel goes to the vet in the a.m. When I bathe Rebel, I put my thumb and ring finger over his ears to hold them down when I rinse. The main part of my hand covers his eyes and nose. The last time I bathed him he jerked his head while I was rinsing and I believe he breathed some of the water. He was definitely choked and I grabbed him up in a towel and rubbed his back and neck to help him cough. Since then (about a week) he occasionally sounds like a "snotty" child. Sounds like a cross between nasal congestion and chest congestion. He doesn't have a temp, is eating well, drinking and playing - but I called the vet this morning because I'm afraid he may have some water in his lungs. I'm taking him in tomorrow at 9:am He had his bordatello shots in last Aug and early Sept. Does make sense and has anybody ever heard of anything like it before?

Donating YT 30K Club Member | Pixie always sounds nasally to me and more so after I bathe her. If it is in his chest then it's good your taking him in just to be safe. Hope it's nothing

| His legs are fine His one speed is wide-open! I'm hoping that tomorrow when I take him to the vet they will tell me I'm just over-reacting.

| Update Rebel has an ear infection , and is running a slight temp. The vet said he's "reverse sneezing" occasionally, but she manipulated his throat and said she didn't think he had collapsing trachea. He has ear drops, an antibiotic, and has to take 3cc's of childrens' benadryl twice daily. She said is he's not better quickly, she may do x-rays - but she said his lungs sound clear as a bell. She said I caught it quickly and he'll be all better in a couple days.

| Oh, I'm so glad it wasn't anything too serious. Glad it's something that can be treated. How's he doing with the meds? Hope he's feeling better soon.

The vet gave him the "pink stuff" that smells like bubble gum and has to go in the frig and Rebel just loves it! No problem at all getting him to take his meds.
