| Two Week Old not peeing!!! Does anyone know how to get a two week old to pee that all of the sudden stopped? He was peeing up until in the middle of the night last night. If I do not find a remedy or cure we are going to have to put him to sleep this afternoon. Granted it is 12:15 here right now. If anyone knows anything please help.

Have you spoken to your vet? I would call him, and ask what to do, there has to be something that you can do. I'm hoping a breeder will be online that sees this post! Best wishes, and please keep us posted. | |

| I have actually had him staying with the vet all weekend. She has been taking him home and feeding him every hour because he was not eating from mom. He has just started gaining weight regularly and showing interest in food. But now that he is, he is not peeing well. This morning she has to drain his bladder with a needle because he is too small for a cath. She is doing everything that she can think of. She is in this as deep as I am. We love this little guy and he has been with one of us for the past to weeks in our shirts, being feed every hour or two.

| Is the puppy drinking? Is the mother stimulating it to pee by licking it's privates, etc.? I see that he is not with his mother. Is the vet stimulating him with a cotton ball soaked in warm water? They cannot eliminate on their own. They must be stimulated.

| I sure hope you don't have to put him down. There must be something they can do to stimulate him. Have they tried putting him back with his mom?
