| diarrhea help please pedialyte or equivelant ??? Anyone got some input on this... Peanut has had some mild diarrhea the last two days. It hasn't gone away just yet, and we feel bad, so does he, he thinks he's being bad.... Anyways, we would like to give him something to help with this... Any suggestions??? Also, when is the cookbook coming out? We want to start cooking for Peanut, but have had trouble finding a list of all the nutritional things that we should be provding in his food...we want to keep him healthy. Thank You!

| Our vet has always advised us to give our dogs white rice and boiled chicken. I usually switch them to bottled water. Your vet can also give you some meds that coat the stomach and settle the GI Track...cannot remember the name..dirah something...It is in a tube and is very dark in color my furkids like it. I keep a tube in the fridge..You can also try yogart...mine do not like it and we have found Bailey is lactose intolerant, which makes everything worse. If it persists for more then two days I would take him to the vets, so he doesn't get dehydrated.

| I have been going thur this with Deiter for almost 3 weeks on and off now. He has stayed at the vets. They ran test and nothing shows up. I just had to take him back again yesterday. And we are back on the dog food with Meds. I have to use 6 cans of that. I wish you luck. My thoughts are with you. I hope that he gets feeling better really soon for you.

It really helped Bailey's tummy get settled when she was so sick earlier this year. Hope he is feeling better.

| Thanks again all! He actually ate well last night, boiled chicken, rice, and a couple nibbles of carrots & green beans. We'll see how he's doing today. Our thoughts are with Deiter as well , we hope he gets better soon.
