Default Armani is under the weather :(

We went in for His rabies vaccine yesterday. we got home and he slept for a couple of hours. He woke up and he was fine, playing eating being his usual crazy self. Well during the night he threw up and now he is just laying around, I feel bad for him. I dunno if we should go to the emergency vet or wait till tom. Could this be a late reaction to the shot>?

I'm really not sure. Hopefully someone else can give you some more insight. I would at least call the ER vet and let them know and see what they say....

Zoey threw up after her rabies shot, and was sleepy for about 2 days. Hope Armani feels better.

Spike was sleepy after his vaccine, too, but he was okay the following day - my vet told me to expect him to be a bit lethargic for 24 - 48 hours, though, so he came in ahead of schedule! I would say wait until tomorrow and if he's still a bit lethargic, take him in to get checked out.

Tatiana, so sorry your baby doesn't feel well. There have been numerous threads and posts about babies not feeling well after their shots. I HATE that they have to have them. Otis has liver issue's so he will never have one again and I am really conflicted on Oliver getting his. I've heard some vets only require them every 3 years. I think in Indiana they are required yearly except for dogs with health issue's. Hope he bounces back soon. Give him a little squeeze and kiss from me.

Missy barely slept, only when we were driving home after her shot, she was sleepy, lol... she's a wild lil thang. Ummm, the Vet did tell me that they may sleep for a while, but clearly your baby's body is sensitive towards the shot, so if it continues for another day, I would bring her in asap.

UPDATE!!!
Armani seems better today. One of his ears is droopy, but he is currently teething. He ate merricks canned today with a little bit of cheese and seemed fine (I didn have anymore boiled chicken left). HE was running and playing when I went to work and chewing his bully stick. Hopefully it was just the stupid rabies shot and he is back to normal!! O ya and he pooped fine no diarrhea or anything. My boyfriend is gonna check on him later to make sure he is a ok! Thanks to everyone who responded to me!

am just now reading this . . . .some of our babies do react to vaccine shots so that might have happened to Armani. I still recommend you call your VET to let him know what is happening . . .just for your piece of mind.

am glad to hear Armani is being himself again

Thank you I def will let them know, they usually call me to check in on Armani, and I will tell them then. I also noticed that when he gets a bath he gets all moppy after that, I think I may be getting shampoo water in ears I just realized this when I boyfriend pointed it out. So from now on I have be really careful. i feel so bad that I might be causing him to not feel good
