| Going into heat have nothing to do with the yelping . It might be a very good idea to have her check by your vet . |

| Tiki I know that Tiki isnt hurt she was fine when I got home from work and then she started acting weird wanting me to hold her all night then when i would move her she would yelp....I know for a fact she is not hurt. I actually had a yorkie that i had to put to sleep a few months ago , she did the same thing kinda same actions but worsened over days and she became paralyzed we lived in florida at the time so very good vets there we took her to a specialist and they put her in ICU for 5 days and she got better then it happened again 1 month later and they could never figure out what was wrong with her and we had to put her to sleep they thought maybe it was brain defect she had when she was born but if the same thing happens to tiki I wont believe it because they are form two different litters families. Thanks guys, I am freaking out she is my baby |

| Tiki is acting like my other Yorkie that I had to put to sleep back a few months ago while living in Fl. Had to put her in ICU for 5 days at one of the best vets in Tampa, They never could figure out her problem thought maybe it was a brain defect? We were devastated so we are really scared now thanks guys |

I would neve assume my dog isn't hurt - expecially if they cry - that is a sign of pain. It could be minor but still - crying is crying & you need to get her checked out if it's happening as much as you posted. I'm only posting an opinion - but if one of mine started yelping for no reason we'd be AT the vets asap - no question about it. ps...no - that isn't normal behaviour for a yorkie.

| Please take her to the vet. Is she overweight? I haven't posted about what we are going through right now [will fill in details later] but we have allowed Toto to gain wayyy too much weight. She began to act exactly the way you described. The first time she yelped we immediately rushed her to our vet. Her little sternum isn't long enough to accommodate the weight and she has five ribs which have become "disconnected" at the bottom. Looking at the X-rays was horrifying and I will never, ever forgive myself for allowing this to happen. We are desperately trying to get some weight off her but it's difficult because she doesn't feel like walking. Sorry this was long but I was shocked at your description because it's identical to what has happened with Toto. Please keep us updated!!
