| Hallie jumped in the tub with me--her skin is red and inflammed I just wanted to take a bath with the new fizzies that Baileysmom sent me in the gift exchange. Well Hallie had a total fit and panic attack because I was in the bathtub (I don't take baths often). I gave her a flossie to chew on but she was so upset she jumped in the tub with me and started splashing around. She has sensitive, dry skin as it is and I think the fizzies irritated her. She is red and blotchy and I put some Vitamin E oil on it but she's miserable. Any ideas? |

| I'm sure you rinsed her really well, so how about an oatmeal bath to soothe her skin? I've also put baking soda in Lucy's water before and that helped her incision after her spaying. (when the stitches were gone and she could have a bath)

| That's a good idea, I'm going to put her in the sink for an oatmeal soak! And she thinks being in the sink is special so maybe that will make her happy. |

| Aveeno makes an oatmeal bath it contains no soap and it's incredibly gentle and soothing. may want to give it a try. Poor Hallie!

Donating YT 30K Club Member | You could give her a little Benydryl do help settle her skin down. Poor baby! Hope she feels better soon.

I Love Thor Donating Member | Someone already said it. I'd say give her a bath using her regular stuff and rinse, rinse, rinse. Hopefully her tender skin will be back to normal very soon! Ps, that's really cute she couldn't stand for her mommy to be far from her for just a few minutes. Did she gets some flying skills from her bro? That's quite the jump for a little girl! |

| Thank you all. I gave her an oatmeal bath in the sink (which she loved) then put some more oil on her and she is settled now all wrapped up in her blanket. Poor baby, her skin is so sensitive, especially in the winter when it's dry I think she's going to be just fine. |

Donating YT 500 Club Member | Glad to hear she is better and enjoyed her oatmeal bath. Lexi's mom - Tricia, uses the Aveeno oatmeal bath with Lexi, who has allergies and her skin gets irritated. She says it works wonders, so that was going to be my recommendation.

Awwwww she is just fine. Still a little pink but she slept well and doesn't seem to be irritated anymore. I'm going to get some of the Aveeno oatmeal bath for the winter and in case this happens again. Thank you for asking Hallie says thank you as she's chasing Simon up and down the hallway so I'd say she feels good today! | |
