| The Brat Pack Donating Member | I was just trying on a coat on Lillie and stood her up on her hind legs and noticed on the RIGHT side about 1/2 inch next to her pee area there is a quarter size bubble that feels like a liquid inside. I called the vet but of course they have all ready left. Anyone know what this may be? She did not cry or yelp when I touched it and she has been eating and acting fine.

| I Love Thor Donating Member | Hummm, I wish I could provide more information for you about this, but I'm just not sure what it could be...Sorry. Keep an eye on it and when the vet reopens I would call and talk to them about it. |

| Geez, I don't know...but maybe it was a big gas bubble that was palpable through her abdomen?? You know how if you have a bubble and push it is sounds squishy sometimes? I don't know, I could be totally wrong, but just a thought.. |

| Sounds like a small ingunal hernia, not rare or dangerous unless they are oversized and can not be pushed back in the abdomen. Since it comes and goes it rarely causes a problem..if she is young and the hernia is small, it will usually recede and go away. Some need a repair at spaying time..sometimes they are on both sides...best wishes

| I was going to say maybe a small hernia as well. Since it's gone maybe watch and see if it comes back. Did you try standing her in the same position to see if it's there again? Hopefully it is nothing and will never come back.
