| Help Please!! Ok, I just got my puppy on wednesday and she is doing good as far as eating, pooping and peeing. I was going to take her to the vet because she was shaking her head and scratching her little ear. Well, we woke up and she was fine, but she loves to play after she eats, we were playing and when she turn on her back (she loves to do this i don't know why) i saw a bump , my poor baby . I looks like a little sack filled with pus ewww. So i take her to the vet and he told me it could be from her scratching and maybe infecting it . Anyhow he poped it and put some cream and send us home . I thought that was the end of it but its growing back. i will have a pic see if anybody can help me. I am scared She is 6 weeks old. |

| Oh, poor baby!!!! Wow, she is really young btw. As far as her bump, did the vet give any indication as to what it is? At the very least, I would call him back and let him know it is coming back. This will be easier said than done, but I would try to keep her from messing with it at all. Good luck!

| It sounds like it has just filled back up. The vet may need to drain it and clean it then put meds on it. |

| Welcome to Yorkie Talk; I see you are all the way from South Korea. Have you had this vet for a long time or is this the first dog in your house for awhile?? I'm not sure what to say but some of the breeders here will probably see this and maybe have run into it and can give you advise but I would get back to the vet. She must be very tiny if she is only 6 wks.

| Thank you all, yes i am in South Korea. I do have another puppy he is a 4 month old maltese and i got him at 8 weeks and i have been using this vet. There are not alot of vets here that speak english, he is the one recommened by the army in my area . There is a military vet but it takes about 1 hour by bus . I think i am going to take her back, he drain it yesterday and put med but he did not send me home with anything . It's not filled all the way but does have a little pus. She still herself(eats like a little pig )but i am worried . Hopefully someone can have some advice as to what it is....Thank you all again. |

| pup Hi...it could be a bacterical skin infection..even if it is not, it would not hurt to shampoo her with antibacterical shampoo..Chlorhexaderm is good. Wash her belly area with peroxide if you can not get the shampoo. She is awfully young to have a cyst, so I would lean toward skin infection. She may need an antibotic. Good Luck |

| As usual, Pat is spot on. In the US the vet would have given an antibiotic to give the baby by mouth..You can clean the place and keep it draining while it heals. Does she have a fever? Probably not, but thought I would ask. Hope she gets better real soon.. |

| Sorry I cannot offer any advice, but I wish you the best. I think Pat probably is right. Please keep us posted, as we are concerned. |
