| My Baby I got my Yorkie on Jan.noticed an itch.Well later I found out its pain where her tail was docked . Three different vets. could not figure out what was wrong.A vet. in San Antonio finally figured it out gave Chloe some Traumeel Oral drops, Well she still having pain .Now she is on Cold Laser Treatments 5th one tomorrow, please if any one of your pets have experienced this let me know.The treatments are not helping much. Would love to hear from some one.Thanks |

| I have never heard of this. Poor baby. I hope they get this taken care of for her.

| Sounds like nerve pain witch would make sense as the tail is an extension of the spine. If there are enough digits left in her tail, possibly taking off a bit more could rectify the problem. Possibly the docking was not properly done the 1st time, so redoing it properly may help. |

| thanks for asking Chloe is on Gabapentin and Amitriptyline.some days the pain is once a day sometimes twice.the pain will last from 30mins. to an hour. I feel so sad about and theres nothing I can do about it |

| Wow, I've never heard of this. Was her tail docked too short? My Phoebe's tail was docked VERY short, It's almost nonexistent. The vet told me whoever did it was lucky they didn't injure her spine by docking it so short
