| Sick yorkie yolly Hi everyone, my yorkie pet is 7 years old. She had a littler of 4 yorkie pups on February 3rd 2014. After a week of yelping her pups she suffered a calcium deficiency and nearly died. We have had to bottle feed all pups since then. It has been 40 days since the incident. Now yolly weighs twice her initial weight from before her pregnancy. Is that normal? Also, this past week I have noticed she is very anxious/frantic, jealous of attention pups are getting...today I noticed her exhibiting strange behavior. She wants to be carried at all times and is flailing a lot when carried and rested on a shoulder. Her eyeballs kind of popping out of her head and has huge pupils, I see she even has a slight fever, and is panting. I say slight because she is warm but her nose is still wet. Is this normal for a pup mom? Can this be some sort of post pardon depression? |
