| Upset tummy My baby has runny poop. She's eating ok, but she's young and I'm worried. Her poop was fine Christmas Eve and her diet hasn't changed from the breeders. She hasn't lost any weight. I've had her for a week now and haven't let her outside so she won't catch anything. Any ideas? I can't take her back to where I got her from due to extenuating circumstances (which is why I got her so young) any help would be appreciated. |

| Almost 7 weeks. She's been fine until Christmas day. We had people over but I wouldn't allow them to touch her. Could it have been all the commotion? |

| If it were me, and I had a puppy that young I would be contacting my vet. It is better to be safe than sorry with these little ones. I have a baby that is 4 lb and 2 years old. She got sick and within 24 hours she was already dehydrated. I would advise you to contact your vet if possible.

| Has she seen the vet at all? With her being such a small puppy, I sent a PM to another member here who might be able to help you. I know what I would do for my dogs but I have no experience with a 7 week old. I hope she will post on this thread soon. Is your puppy drinking water?

Donating YT 4000 Club Member | ok, first of all chicken broth is NO good for a young puppy, the sodium and fat content is bad for young puppies, I want you to go to the store and by Goat's milk, and a can of the wet food for puppy the brand you are feeding her , mix the kibble ad the wet food and add a couple of ounces of the goat's milk warm and offer her that gruel to eat, she also needs benebac because she might have less of the good bacteria due to her having an upset tummy. you can private message me if you have specific questions. | I honestly think a call to the vet wouldn't hurt, be very careful, this young pup can go down very fast. It is real and it is serious. Good Luck, keep us posted.

| My Walmart carries goats milk. So hopefully yours will too! I am so glad you are listening to the suggestions. And I would call the vet in the morning too.
