| Prissy had a fall...encouragement please... I was taking Prissy out to potty and when I was putting her down on the grass, she jumped out of my arms. She cried when she fell, I picked her up and started feeling her limbs, she cried when I touched her back leg. I went straight to the vet where they xrayed her. It was broken. They called a specialist and sent her xrays over and discussed treatment and both concurred to set and splint. She has her first recheck on Tuesday. She has meds for pain, and wanted to eat when we got home..Ive seen some really bad stories with breaks. Any good sucesses?? |

| I'm so sorry Prissy got hurt Give her hugs from me & Zhoie xxooxox. You rushed right to the vet and was so proactive with her care...she is a lucky little girl to have such a good mommy. I read lots of successful stories with broken legs too...I'm sure she will be fine. Sending prayers for miss Prissy!

| She is sleeping now, but Im not sure how her going potty is going to work. I stood her on a potty pad and she moved around just a little, but she just wanted me to hold her. Any suggestions? |

Maybe she feels insecure with the cast on her leg. Can you just hold her a little to steady her while she goes potty. Maybe her leg is still painful . After she starts feeling better she may just go on her own. She is lucky to have such a wonderful mommy.... | |

| Poor little Prissy. . Their little bones are so fragile. I am sure she is scared and confused on what all has happened. I am sure she wants you for security.

| I found that when my girls were on pain medications, particularly buphorprenol, they were especially needy. I hope Prissy heals and is free from pain very quickly.
