| painful temperature taking Today we took Dinky in for his yearly check up. The timing was good because he did not seem to be feeling well. Tummy upset. Better now. but when his assistant took his temperature, it hurt him. I know his cries, and it was not fear, it was pain. What the heck did she do? he is not injured, but I do not think it should have been painful. The office is calling back tomorrow to check up on him, and I would like to know exactly what I am talking about when I talk about it. ANy thoughts? |

I know my little pup was hurting every time they took his, but he had diarrhea from having parvo and they were checking twice a day every day for 11 days.

| Pulled hair? Irritation? Put it in some stool and irritated him that way? He may have tensed up? Unless he is still in pain, I wouldn't worry about it.
