Poor Mavrick is soooo sick right now Poor liitle Mavie . He was perfectly fine this morning...playing, eating, drinking, and passing out tons of kisses. Then he was put in his crate for a nap and he got diarreah (sp?). I bathed him and cleaned his crate. Had to run to the store. Came back...more diarreah. Bathed him again, and the vomiting started. I know to do the chicken and rice, but he just won't eat. I forced Nutrical. I haven't put him down except outside where he has pooped and threw up some more. Drool is coming out of his mouth. He hasn't had anything outside of his regular food. I know this "just happens" sometimes, but I still feel scared. He is sleeping on me right now and I am hoping he will feel a lot better when he wakes up.

I won't let him get dehydrated. I use a syringe to give him water. I will take him to the vet if he isn't feeling better very soon. It just started. He has only been sick for an hour and a half now. He has been sleeping for about 45 minutes of that. I am keeping an extremely close eye on him. Thank you for responding and caring. I will update on his condition.

Thanks you guys!!!! He isn't ALL better, but he is headed in the right direction. Poor little bugger is willing to be held for hours right now and just wants to be cuddled like a little baby. I did finally put him in his crate because I think I kept interrupting his rest too often to make sure he was ok or to talk to him and tell him he was going to be all better soon. He did take a few laps of water himself which is always a good sign.

I am so happy to report that Mavrick is 95% better. He should be completely back to his normal self tomorrow. He is eating and drinking more than willingly now. Thank you so much for your concern to those of you who posted. I truly appreciate it.
