| Help Polo Can't stand I am afraid I have not been on YT in a while and have not posted anything in some time this is last thing I want to post..... But I need the most help I can get. Polo was healthy before he went to the vet to get his vaccinations he would sometimes get sick and throw up but nothing this severe Polo weighs 4.8lbs and went to the vet on Jan 27,2011 and he had two vaccinations done Parvo and Bordatella. He was healthy when he went to the vet but in Febuary he got sick he was throwing up, spinning, falling, could not focus, walked like he was drunk. I took him to the vet I said maybe Vertigo? she checked in his ears and said he had some gunk in the ear so she gave him ear drops and Metacam I forgot to say he has a head tilt but anyways we did the ear drops and Metacam for a little over a week and he seemed to get better. But not 100% better maybe 90% he still had his head tilted kind of to the right. So this last Saturday we took him walking we went about 2 miles he seemed good pulling like a horse sniffing everthing but he was walking sideways but I thought nothing of it because he always had kind of done that. We also went to the dog park but Polo was being really shy his normal self and not wanting to play with the other dogs just staying byme wanting me to hold him. But this Monday he went down hill pretty fast I could tell he was very off balanced running in to things and walls had a hard time getting comfortable when I took him outside to go potty he could barley walk falling over, I could tell he had to go poo and pee he was trying to go poo but could not keep his balance he finally gave up and pooped lying down twice. And then he kind of squatted to pee for a little bit then he fell and peed the rest laying down. So I called the Vet and scheduled for wednesday well we went to the vet and she thoughtPortal shunting or Liver or kidney problems so she ran those two test both came back negative. She said he need to see a neurologist so he is going to see the neurologist This Monday.at the moment this week he has been unable to go to the bathroom since Monday so yesterday last night at about 5:30 we took him to Animal Hospital so they could relieve his bladder the guy there said his bladder was very full. I forgot to mention that Polo falls over to the right the way his head has been tilted, when you try to hold him he flips like a fish you have to hold his head and body to the right. The guy at the Animal Hospital said he thought it had something to do with the brain and he thought maybe Head Tramua. He asked if had anyfalls on his head and I said no not that I can think of I am very carefull with him because he is so small the Guy said he really can't do anything and that he needs to see the neurologist I told him we are going this Monday. I just need prayers that it is nothing severe he is so young only two years old will be three in May. I just think to myself he was finebefore the Vaccinations could that have caused this or Brain damage? I asked the vet about the Vaccinations and they said no the are completely safe. I really need prayers everyday!I can't go long without bawling my eyes out. I just feel like I am in a dream and will wake up and he will be back to normal... I just feel like my worst nightmare is reality.

| I'm sending prayers for Polo and you to get whatever is wrong fixed and back to normal. Thank goodness you already have vets investigating, and I pray that they will have a diagnosis and treatment plan really soon.

| I forgot to put that polo randomly will start panting and shaking and sometimes squealing. I think he is uncomfortable but this is not a seizure? is it? what are the signs or a seizure? I really need to know what to look out for.

| I am very sorry to hear your Polo is having such severe symptoms. Did the ER Vet not have a neurologist on call? I cannot undetstand letting such drastic symptoms go so long without a specialist!!!! When you explained the symptoms he was having this past Monday and they only gave you an appointmentfor Wednesday, I was freaking out. Now you are having to wait til the NEXT Monday to see the Neurologist!??? This is very severe behavior that I believe needs a greater sense of urgency than is being displayed. I will pray that your little one can hold on until you get him proper care.

| I am so sorry your Polo is very sick. Not sure if the vaccines had anything to do with it or not. Seems like he really went downhill quickly. I hope you will find answers soon , and polo wil be ok again.

Donating YT 30K Club Member | I will keep Polo in my prayers. That is so scary. Have they done any x rays to see if he has AAI in his neck? I hope he is resting comfortably until Monday.
