| My lil Pixie broke her foot! My lil girl, Pixie, broke her foot! She is staying the night at the vets. It's a fairly bad break on bottom of right back leg, right under her ankle. I'm so sad and missing her like crazy!! I pick her up tomorrow morning. I'm sure I won't sleep tonight. Anyone else have experience with their yorkie having a broken foot? Oh, she fell backwards while jumping up the stairs into my apt. : ( |

| OH no I'm so sorry. I always worry about that when my two run up the stairs too. I've had some close calls with them nearly falling backwards. I understand.... I bet you're missing her I would miss my two if they had to stay at the vets overnight. It'll be okay just know that you can get her first thing in the morning and love on her to pieces. Will she have a cast when you pick her up?? How much does she weigh??(just wondering because I think Muffin is about the same size)

| Poor thing! I haven't had a dog with broken paw (or bone). Hope Pixie will have a speedy recovery.

| That's a pretty tough area to break. Did she get stepped on? I sure hope she mends correctly. I fostered a little Chihuahua with broken toes on the front paw. She was in a cast for weeks, but it didn't slow her down.

Donating YT 2000 Club Member | I am so sorry Pixie broke her foot. Jersey broke his leg when he was around 9 months old so i know exactly how you feel. Pixie will recover and before you know she will be back to herself. I would just recommend that you follow your vet's instructions to the T
