| George is staying at vets I took him in for his yearly shot on Friday and by friday night he had bad runny poos, In the morning he couldn't keep anything down and still had the runny poo, rung vet and was told to keep him hydrated, improved sunday, we even went for a little walk. monday now and ok this morning, home for lunch mess on my carpet and spew on my bed, he had a drink of water and then spewed it up, took him back to vet and now he's on IV and they've kept him in, they seem to think a small intestine block but want him hydrated first before they look further, there was blood in his discharges as well. This is going to be a long night.

| Thank you every one, I have been awake for hours but have 1 hour to go before I can ring the vet again, they said to wait till after 9am once they have re-evaluated him, hope his fluids are up from the IV and wether the xray will show anything, she thinks it could be the small intestine blocked but said the xray doesn't always show that, the support we've had is so heart warming, but I miss my boy so much, as soon as I've spoken to the vet I'm off to work, I've gotta keep busy, will post an update from there.

| I am so sorry you and your little one are going through this. It is always strange to me how a dog can go to the vet for shots and come home and get sick that night. Just a general question but what kind of shot did the vet give him? Did it have Lepto in it? Not that I am an expert on that vaccine. I am just curious. |

| Good news so far, he is much brighter this morning, had a drink and some breakfast and has kept it down, vet keeping him in today, I might be abe to take him home this evening (fingers crossed)they have run some tests including Parvo which is prevalent at the moment but they don't think that is the problem as his shots are up to date, they also think it could be a severe intestinal infection, but they are starting to rule out an operation. The relief we feel this morning is great even though he's not totally out of the woods yet it's looking promising.
