| Weird Rash and Spot on Yorkie Can you please take a look at this pic of my Yorkie pup; it looks like a rash on her stomach can someone please let me know what it is and should I take her to the vet. I have owned this Yorkie for about 2 weeks and this Yorkie is only 3 months old. |

I ♥ Joey & Ralphie! Donating Member | After you buy a yorkie, the first thing you should do is go to a vet. Has she had an initial vet check yet? You know that she needs shots, right?

I ♥ Joey & Ralphie! Donating Member | Maybe someone else will know more, but I always recommend going to the vet. Skin infections can be serious, I've never seen anything like that on Joey. Remember that they need a series of shots all the way up to 14 weeks.

| Is it close to where the pup pees? I know my girl had a skin issue because her urine was irritating her poor belly. I took her to my vet of course right away and he told us how to clear it up. I recommend going to your vet. |

| That looks like Ringworm . Ringworm is very contagious to humans & other pets. You deff need to take your puppy to the vet & be sure to wash your hands after handling her. |

| It looks like staph to me. Whatever it is, you definitely need to take her to a vet. If it is ringworm or staph, it needs medicine from the vet. Don't panic when you hear the word staph...it is a very common infection on dogs and easily treated with antibiotics.
