| 1lb yorkie swan dives off 3 story balcony I had just bought my brand new baby girl Isabella Rose about a week before this had happened. We had her for about a week, and I hadn't baby proofed the balcony yet. We had never had thought of her jumping off the balcony. Well to my horror, she decided to jump off the balcony for a bughttp://kona.kontera.com/javascript/l...rey_loader.gif . She fell 3 stories into a bush and onto some pine straw. I had really thought I had lost her for good. My boyfriend ran and got her and all she did was scream. We drove 115mph to the Vet ER cause it was 9pm on a Sunday. After an ungodly amount of time at the ER and a CT, full body X-Ray we find out that nothing is wrong with her. No breaks, no hair line fractures, or even sprains. She was on some pain meds for a couple of days just to make sure she didn't hurt any. I had thought for a few days after the accident that she might of had brain damage, but the vet said to give it time. For the first 3 days after the fall she would only walk backwards, I have no clue why and neither did the vet. But thank god after 3 days she started walking normal again. Now she's perfectly healthy and even loves to lay out on the balcony, which is properly baby proofed now with plenty of extra fencing.

| Walking backwards is a sign of brain injury so keep a close eye on her as she may not be out of the woods just yet. |
