| Side Effects Rimadyl and Buprenex Hi Everyone, I took my dog to the vet because she had a possible sprained muscle. The doctor gave her two shots Rimadyl and Buprenex. She seems quite lethargic since getting home. Has anyone else had experience with these shots? Is this normal? Thanks in advance for any advice. |

Donating YT 4000 Club Member | Buprenex is a synthetic opoid and as such can have the same side effects of opiates like morphine, including lethargy. Buprenorphine (Buprenex®) Buprenorphine (Buprenex) - VeterinaryPartner.com - a VIN company!
