| Black Water Throwing up..? Hi my dog is 1 year old, on Thursday night he was throwing up with some black water which smell very awful, I decided to take him to the vet next morning, but when he woke up he was running like always and playing with his toys, so i thought that he is fine. Right now about 12 he throw up again with this black water, i called vet and he will see him today. Maybe someone had similar problem? what`s that black water? I`m worry about him but after throwing up he is fine, running around and playing, that`s so weird.

| I'm not quite sure about the "black water" but did you keep a sample of it so you can bring it to the vet? I only know in humans throwing up black ( like coffee ground) means there is stomach bleeding. Glad you can see the vet soon.

| I would definitely get him to the vet . I know in the human world when theres a bowel blockage , things tend to come "up" and in dark colors.

*** What did your vet say about it the first time around? I highly recommend seeing your vet again. If your pup is bleeding, that is very dangerous and he can go downhill fast.
