| Itchy Yorkie My Yorkie is 4lbs and one year old..He is constantly scratching. I tried the oatmeal shampoo last night and he is still scratching. Does anyone have any suggestions?Thanks.. |

| I think that's the best thing for you to do. He may have gotten a few mites, or it may just be dry skin. It's hard to know over the internet. Good luck!

| oatmeal is very drying it is a grain so use hypoallergenic shampoo instead like blue hypoallergenic from petco |

| We wound getting a medicated shampoo and medicated conditioner for Hot Rod. I can tell when he's not used it for a couple of baths as he starts have dandruff again. With the cold weather, it could be that the heat in the house is drying to his skin as well.

YT 3000 Club Member | does he have fleas, check him out for that, I would try a hypoallergenic shampoo and you can try apple cider vinegar mixed with water and rinse him with that. I have to have chester rinsed really well and he had a reaction to oatmeal before. I also use salmon oil on his food which is good for allergies and skin and coat |
